INEC DDC MACHINE :

Zinox alongside Haier Electrical Appliances Corporation of China and Avante of United States were awarded the contracts to supply the machines.
INEC is importing 132,000 machines out of which 120,000 are to be deployed across the polling units in the country.

What they call DDC MACHINE :

A low end Laptop computer with a single core processor,, had a webcam and external Biometric chip..... The market value of the laptop is about $500 but sold to us for $1771.73.

My problem :
Three companies to import a common laptop we can assembly in Nigeria .
If federal Govt realy have the interest of the nation , govt can award the contract to different companies and mandate them to assembly it here why the some of the parts can be imported .

It will save us huge amount of money and create employment and empowerment of the youths.

The Software aspect can be handle by numerous computer scientist roaming on the street in Nigeria . We claimed we are the giant in this and that and we cant think like a human .
Imagine if Chinese or american never exist !.

I dont see anything in data base computer which we cant assembly in Nigeria and write the programme in English , Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo, we carry our data job, give to Chinese thats never speaks English .
